Design wall QAL blocks

I caved in.....I kept seeing all the neat granny square blocks so I took a look at Blue Elephant Stitches Granny Square blocks tutorial. I made mine with 1.5 inch squares as I wanted to use 5 inch charms for all the colors.
I completed my last block for the Fat Quarter Stars Quilt Along.....now to decide how to sash it. This has really been fun and all the directions for the different blocks can still be found by clicking the button below.

Today I will run to town to take back my dad's library books, pick him up some new ones and spend a little with a high speed connection. Quiznos has the fastest connection and I get a yummy sandwich too.

Linking up with Judy at Patchworktimes be sure to see what everyone else has on their design walls this week and don't forget my Linky party tomorrow.

  1. Your granny squares are yummy! I love the red in the center of each one - gives a unifying touch! So far I've managed to avoid the craze, but seeing cute ones like yours always tempts me :)

Enjoy your time out and Quiznos - they closed ours here, so now I go to Bellacinos.
