Spring Stars Quilt Pillow

I had one left over orphan block that got used to make this 18 inch Spring Stars pillow. It is a little loose which is fine because it will shrink a little when I wash it and then fit perfectly.

When I made my Spring Stars quilt for the Fat Quarter Stars QAL I made one block twice and decided to use it for a pillow to match my quilt.

Just for fun I added a little flower to the center of it.

We had another beautiful day here so I weeded my flower beds, took a walk and then hauled my quilt and pillow down beside the river.

I took a few pictures of the Mississippi River so I can get ready to make my new header for May. You can see Illinois across the river.
