Etchings flimsy

I pieced my Etchings fabric together and have a 48 inch square so far. I'm not sure if I'll add more to it or just go with a lap quilt.
I put it on this bench thinking it would make a cute picture......Kelso jumped right up and then.....
so did Fez..............okay, not the best way to show a quilt top.

I thought it was just cats that had the instinct to jump on a quilt top as soon as it was spread out... but I guess dogs also know a good thing when they see it. Cute!
