Purple String Block

I haven't done any quilting this weekend with everything going on but I did finish this last week and forgot to post it. Linking up my purple string block for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge.

Up close look at the quilting.....I just did the same free motion wiggle stitch I used for last month's block.
So far I have 6 blocks quilted and ready for a Quilt As You Go quilt.

Those look lovely! I recently came across some muslin with the pineapple block printed on. I may try that with bright scraps or something.

Great string blocks. What a super idea to pick one kind of block and then use the color of the month to make it. Wish I'd done that! Can't wait to see how you put them all together... it's gonna be a pretty rainbow!

I echo the other comments...each block is great on it's own, but together they are really awesome!
