Tour of my clean studio
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission.I promised to give you a tour of my clean studio, and here it is! You don’t always need a large space to quilt. As you can see, I like to use every bit of my space though.
Remember the pictures from a couple of days ago?
Well here it my room all clean up!
Everything has been dusted, and stuffed put away neatly.

My fabrics have been re-stacked, batiks together, new projects ready, new fabrics ready to play with.
Empty counters, empty sewing machines………we are having a party this weekend so there won’t be anymore quilting for a bit. My sewing machine sure looks lonely!
It is funny what you notice in a photo, we still haven’t put the baseboard on the cabinets….that is a winter job.
I have a small design wall behind the door, time to clean up the rest of the house…..I think I see a messy desk in the other room. Someday I’ll have to show you what is in all those cupboards……or maybe not!

Would you mind sharing the Accu quilt die numbers that you use for your scrap saving system? I am considering buying a cutter and it’s very confusing trying to find and decide on which dies to purchase thank you so much I appreciate any help
Your room is so organized and the fabrics look so pretty on the shelves. I have a vintage singer with a cabinet like yours which is currently sitting in my garage unused 🙁 I use it for machine quilting and it works so great.

So clean, neat, and tidy!! It looks wonderful!! Don't you feel empowered? Now I have to go clean my sewing room up after looking at your nicely groomed studio! Enjoy for a few days …till the next project inspires you to start cutting!

The storage in your sewing studio makes me swoon! And your sewing machine does look just a little lonely. Either needs a quilt in progress or a sidekick to keep it company 🙂
Oh How nice it is to see a clean sewing rm. I also like the idea of the disign board behind the door. I'm thinking that might be a good place for mine now.

Looks sew great! I love your cabinets! I am trying to decide what kind of shelves to put in my soon to be studio- I am transforming the CRaft Room into a studio. (right now it fits the description Dxh usta call it -the "crap" room)

Looks amazing! What lives behind closed doors, stays behind closed doors? LOL Maybe I need to plan a party to get it all cleaned up, LOL. Photos, I take a picture of every layout, it shows A LOT. Slanted walls (a comment above) when I almost had to move sewing to slanted wall room I was planning to install two strings/ropes/lines about 15 inches apart (one top, one bottom) and invest in a pack of clothes pins to hang smaller quilts that way. No slanted walls for me, but I think that would be fun!
I love to look at people's sewing rooms; I always get new ideas. Like all your minis up on the wall..My studio has a sloping ceiling so I don't have too many straight walls to work with; maybe it's time to reorganize…which is different from "cleaning up"…
It does look like a lonly room when it is all cleaned up. What a beautiful space you have for creating your work!!!

I love getting my sewing room clean and organized – just wish it would stay that way. 🙂 blessings, marlene
what an awesome transformation!! and they you are having a PARTY??? and can't sew? what a shame!! well have fun. My neighbor bought these clear plastic bins. 15 x 11 by 3" high with snap lids for ongoing projects, I have maybe 6 filled now, won't tell you how many my neighbor has! she likes to "collect" and it doesn't help that I send her links to cool quilt patterns or kits etc…
And then you know I have a dry erase board where I write down tops that are ready to be quilted, like a chart, with size info, if binding is done and ready, batting ready, and backing ready and size of that, and lastly a column for READY to quilt so I can put a check mark, my board is almost full though, so that means I really shouldn't start a new project! 🙂 but you know me….
Oh, my! I'm envious of all that clean space. Will that ever happen to me?
