The town was busy as American Pickers was filming.......should have had my camera. Anyway, Builder Bob sat in the car and I said I would only be gone for 15 minutes as I was looking for a book. It wasn't there but I found these beautiful batiks to add to my stash! Amazing what I can buy in 15 minutes!
Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt is going to have a Dot Blog Hop, there is still time to sign up for it.......I'm thinking I can see some dots in my new batiks!
I have a couple blocks done for the Celebrate Christmas blog hop that starts next week. Here is just a peek at what I'm working on.

I love the Pickers.....too funny, and I always learn something from their finds.
Love your new fabrics and will be looking for you on the hops.
Pickers are so geat but they never find old quilts what a drag, but they are fun. I am thinking Dots since you are. I like to follow you around. Wish I was fishing with fisherman Bob, haven't been since we moved from the coast.
Yes, those Batiks do have dots! Great buy for 15 minutes.
Great choice Connie!!!
I see the dots, but I also see Christmas! Can't wait to see those blocks!
those batiks are just so pretty.
can't wait to see your peeks. I need to finish my think Christmas project.
Oh YES!!! Yummy batiks - love 'em!!!
Beautiful fabrics!
I think if he let you get all those wonderful fabrics, I would call him sweetie....grin.
Especially love the purples - the one with the golden maple leaf is a star.
cute buys there Connie, lovely sneak peeks.xx
Love your new batiks! So much fun to get some new fabric and dream of all the things you could make with it.
I can't EVER choose fabric in 15 minutes...Dear Driver knows he's gonna have to wait a while for me, and usually, he'll have to help me narrow down my choices. And since I'm color blind, he'll probably have to tell me which one(s) look best together! After all these years, he's pretty much resigned to it & seldom (never) complains. What a find!
lol! Like you, I can do an incredible amount of shopping in 15 minutes if my hubby is waiting. Great purchases.
Nice quick finds. But limiting yourself to just 10 minutes...that would be so hard for me.
I haven't been to that shop yet. It's on my list, though. =)
I love watching the Pickers too. I keep wishing they would be filming one of the times when we venture over that way. I always have to visit that quilt shop too when we are over there and I never leave in 15 minutes.
I am looking forward to seeing more of your Christmas blocks!!!!
