I was planning on posting a giveaway tomorrow but I forgot I have the RWB blog hop on Tuesday (with a giveaway) and also Linky Party Tuesday so I am going to post my Linky party Monday afternoon, RWB blog hop at midnight and then on Wednesday I'll show the project I made for Quilting Lodge and a giveaway from Vicki and Judy.......I'm seeing some batiks!
Here are a few things on my design wall. I am going to take part in the Bowls with Borders blog hop in August and since it is paper piecing I am starting to practice as it is something I have always shied away from. To make it easy on me I made my first practice bowls big to help me get the concept down.
Haven't had time to work on the batik quilt for my friend but I keep these pieces up to make me feel guilty.
It is a busy week and the best part is that this weekend we are taking a little trip to Hamilton, Missouri.....what is there? Missouri Star Quilt Co. - they are having their Grand Opening and I'm going! Builder Bob is sooooo excited, not really but I'm sure we will do more than just go to quilt shops.
Don't forget to stop by these blogs and see what they have made for the Red, White & Blue blog hop! My day is Tuesday so I'm going to start my Linky Party Tuesday on Monday afternoon.

Have fun on your trip!!
I'm going to the grand opening too! I only live 116 miles away and have been putting off going until the grand opening. It sounds like so much fun. My sister and I are going to head up to Jamesport after that for some Amish food.
All your projects look great..always look forward to seeing them finished!
Have a great time...wish I lived close enough to go as well!!!
It sounds like a fun week ahead for you. Glad your temps have lowered a tad for your trip. Enjoy!
Those bowls look so fun and the pebble quilting is awesome.

Great bowls! I've been following the progress of the Missouri Star Quilt Co shop, should be a great opening.
Your bowls are looking pretty cute! And I am so jealous of you heading to the Missouri Quilt Company...I have just recently discovered them and their wonderful online store, daily deals, and videos...wish I was buckled in your back seat! Enjoy!
Connie you are always so busy . I love the bowls how they are stacked.
I can't wait to see the project you are going to show us.
Have a nice trip to the Grand Opening. Take a big bag in case fabric might fall into it.
Your bowls look fantastic! Can't wait to hear all about the Missouri Star Quilt Co.!
Great wall today. I love the collection of bright and cheery bits and pieces.
Ok Connie ~ I really did read everything but totally forgot anything I was going to say when you made that one comment which made me TOTALLY JEALOUS!!!!!!! I mentioned the grand opening to hubby and we discussed back then about the possibility of going to that too. It would have been a fun get away since it's also our 10th wedding anniversary on Friday.
Things however have been happening and last night they all came to a head so we are probably not going unless I whine a lot in the next few days. HAHA It all depends really on hubby's medical tests he's having on Wed which, in all honesty have my stomach turned in knots. :(
Have a great time. Bring me back a nice present. haha
The bowls are adorable. Have fun at the grand opening! You could take Builder Bob on in to St Jo to see the Jesse James and Pony Express museums. If I recall correctly there are also some nice antique shops on the road there.
OH. MY. I seriously can't wait! What a treat this is going to be!!
You are sew sew lucky to go to the MSQC grand opening. I just love their youtube videos!
