We are home! My internet is slooooow so I'm just going to share a few things right now.
These are the fabrics I bought in Cantril, Iowa. Everything was on sale and I bought one yard of each except the cute pastry fabric that I just couldn't resist and weren't on sale. I figured maybe I would buy some more on the way back but Builder Bob was sneaky and took a different route home. Poor guy, I think he was tired of quilt stores.
The Amish owned Dutchman's Store in Cantril, Iowa is open every day but Sunday. Builder Bob bought 4 quarts of his favorite pickles.....I'll be eating these for breakfast, lunch and dinner......so he runs out and we "have" to go back!
I got a email from Vicki and she showed me the fabrics for the giveaway......shhhh....I know it is supposed to be a surprise but I just had to share and...........there will be

Glad you're back! Really nice Batiks you brought home. I like tHe others, too, but am partial to Batiks.
Sorry about your slow Internet. I remember the days before satellite. Used to make me want to tear me hair out. I hope I never have to go back. :(

LOOOve the additional batiks-colour. I just entered once on your site saying I was now a follower & would go over to Quilting Lodge to follow blog & receive newsletter.
When I checked your emails today there are separate entries (3) by many people. As this is my first Hop (tho' am an Aussie where kangaroos hop). Should I have entered once or multiple times.
