I’m working on a project for a new sponsor and wanted to share a little
peek! Also, it made a great backdrop for the beautiful stiletto than
Rina brought me when I met her at the grand opening of Missouri Star
Quilt Co.

Stiletto for quilting

Thanks again Rina and I used it today!

Fat quarters of fabric

Here are the goodies that I bought at Missouri Star Quilt Co. They had fat quarters on sale for $2 so I grabbed a few of them (batiks on the left) and also a fun panel by Sandy Gervais that I just couldn’t resist.

A couple of charm packs of Sunrise Sunset by Holly Taylor for Moda, beautiful batiks and one of the fabrics in the pack is this beautiful purple batik…….so I bought 2 yards of it.

2 yards of this beautiful red that is one of the fabrics in this charm pack Benartex sampler called Jingle All The Way by Nancy Halvorsen (I bought the charm pack some time ago on one of Missouri Star Quilt. Co.’s Daily Deals.

After we left we headed to Hannibal, MO about 135 miles away and that is where we stayed Saturday and Sunday night.

After checking into a beautiful suite we headed downtown so I could find out where the quilt store was that a fellow blogger had told me about.

It was closed but open on Sunday so we went the next day and it was unbelievable!

Hickory Stick Quilt & Gift Shop was huge, I could have spent hours in there! I didn’t realize until I went into the store that there was one more building that was part of the store!

I picked up a few more fat quarters, a Cherry Bali Pops and this really neat book! Those bunnies are just too cute. That bottom left fat quarter is actually purple……I’m getting ready for Halloween!

  17. Oh, slightly jealous that you got to go to the Grand Opening at the Missouri Star Quilt Company. It could be quite dangerous if I lived close enough to drive there in a couple of hours. Love their website. Lucky gal you are and great fabric you picked up.
