I lost another quilt yesterday……when my daughter and her family were here yesterday I showed her my finished Orca Bay quilt and she really loved it but I’m not ready to give it away yet so…..my Mississippi River Mud quilt that I posted about here went home with her. Of course this means I have to make a couple of pillows to go with it.
I think I made a big mistake showing her how I use a solid comforter on our bed so I can change quilts for a different look. She has her eye on several of my quilts now and would love a Intertwined by the River without the purple, hmmm….maybe a Christmas present. You can find links to my quilts on my Quilts page.
Here is what is on my design wall this week, my grandson’s Nyan Cat quilt. I had hoped to have it finished by this weekend but my Orca Bay quilt was already pinned so it went first. Xander even wore his Nyan Cat t-shirt so he would be ready for pictures. He is a very patient kid, thank goodness.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my grand-daughter’s 3rd birthday. Perfect weather and a picnic by the river. She is such a cutie and when I gave her mom the quilt she kept grabbing different quilts so she could take one home too.
