Batik Strip Table Runner
I wanted to show you the batik strip table runner that I made for my daughter. She is like me and loves batiks and picked out these colors……last year. I did make one table runner for her last year that goes on a table in the living room. I think this one will work on her dining room table.
This is the same fabrics I used in the mug rug I showed you yesterday.
This table runner is 16″ x 30″ and is made from 2 1/2 inch strips just sewed down to the batting and backing so it is all quilted when you are done. That is called a QAYG project. These are fast and easy to make.
I have enough fabric left to either make some place-mats or a small quilt to lay over the couch. Her birthday isn’t until December so I have plenty of time to make up my mind.
We have rain again today but it is in the 60s. Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful so I think we will take a little road trip.
