Trick or Treat
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission. My daughter loves Halloween and really does a fantastic job decorating her house. Every year I try and make her a few new things and I bought this cute panel this summer just for her. I don’t know who is the designer but I sure love the taffy apples.
I put tabs on it and then found a branch outside that I think will be perfect for hanging this.
I did a lot of free motion quilting on this using Coats & Clark Trilobal polyester machine embroidery thread. I really like the sheen of the thread. I have a bunch of neat colors that I bought at JoAnn’s when there was a 50% off sale.
It took just as long to quilt this as it would have to do one I had pieced. I just used premium muslin on the back and you can see all the stitching and color changes I made.
Normally I wouldn’t use this many different frames on my photos in one post but I wanted to show you what can be easily done with Photoscape. It has been a while since I did a tutorial on using it and Wednesday I will show you how much fun it is to do this.
Don’t forget Linky Party Tuesday starts at midnight.
Breathtaking!!!! Came here from Sew Many Ways blog…
What a delightfully quilted panel. I love this kind of sweetness for Halloween–more to look at than eat, I suppose.
Reminds me of the years I lived on a pueblo back when Halloween was always sweet instead of evil.
The back looks amazing! I love it!

I love how you've quilted it. I think Deb Strain is the designer. I have a couple of her panels, but haven't been sure how to finish them so they're just tacked up at our house.

Great job quilting the panel Connie! I bought the same one last year when I started quilting and used metallic thread for mine…my dear daughter was visiting and decided she just had to have it for her home. TFS
