Today is my day to take part in the UR Priceless blog hop. A BIG thank you to Madame Samm from Sew We Quilt and Katherine from Sew Me Something Good.
I’ve been working with batiks a lot lately so it just seemed right to use some of the scraps for a coin purse.
I just used a piece of Warm & Natural batting and sewed my pieces to it until I had enough for the front and back.
For the sides I used the fusible batting.
I made one more from a piece of Debbie Mumm fabric, I have always thought this kitty was so cute.
I brought them over to show my daughter…I’m babysitting again while she and her husband are at a conference…..the photo of them in front of the Winchester Mansion………..that was the conference this summer. I think they enjoy their conferences.
I had fun making them but I didn’t do too well at the hand stitching…..according to my daughter, hand stitching has never been my favorite thing.
Be sure to check out all the other neat coin purses that are being shown today and then visit Sew We Quilt.
