I finished piecing the blocks for Bonnie Hunter's Easy Street using cool colors. I really love this quilt. This is a big quilt, I am showing it on a king size bed and the lighting wasn't the greatest but I'm not taking this top outside.....until it is quilted. I have a feeling I'll be adding more black on white prints to my stash.
Bella was happy to do a little posing. I think I will add a couple borders to my warm Easy Street. I'm thinking red and orange as there is plenty of yellow.
If you missed my post the other day you can follow this link Easy Street in Red, orange and yellow to see my warm color quilt.
I have added a 1 inch border in purple and want to add another border of turquoise.....of which there is very little left in my stash. I am going to keep this quilt folded up until I find the perfect border fabric.....hopefully on sale.
I'll be linking this to Bonnie's linky party where we'll all share our Easy Street quilts.
I am also linking this up with Freshly Pieced - WIP Wednesday

Both are very pretty!
It is amazing how fast you are to sew. Congratulations!
Wow...you really zipped thru this one. Congrats. You did two, and I am half way on one that is only half size! Both of them are fabulous. I am toning my yellow down too, and ordered a border fabric of blue, purple, and turquoise. Sure hope it works.
Oh Connie...that's just tunning! I so admire your big quilts. I'd like to make more, but I just have too much trouble quilting them. That one is just so, so pretty!
Beautiful Connie
So pretty and colorful, nice job as usual. I don't know how you find the time to get so much done!
That is soooo pretty, Connie. I love it in those colors too and I am with you on the black on white for background fabrics. I can't wait to finish mine now.
They are both beauties. Love Bonnie's quilt patterns, just saw one on Pintrest last night called Bricks and Stepping Stones, would like to make that one.
Wow! You have a stunning quilt on that bed! Good for you...and to actually have two versions is quite the feat. Well done!
You are cetainly ambitious! Love both versions - you must not have any more white/black prints anymore!
Wow, that is as beautiful as your Orca Bay. You sure stitch at lightening speed. All my blocks are finished, I may just sew it up tonight.
Oh my! You have been a busy sewist! Your "warm color" variation is wonderful!
Fabulous job with your Easy Streets. I have yet to complete my. Had company through the holidays and now working to complete my ES.
WOW! Love this one too. I love how yours has turned out. Going to work on mine today. Doing same colors.
Wow!! Love this top too! You've been working hard, I tell ya!! Love it!!
OH my goodness Connie! It's gorgeous! Not only have you finished one, you've almost finished two!?!?? You are a speed demon! Love it! Very inspiring...must get into my sewing room!
Both variations look amazing, but the cool one is stunning! Love it.
Oh my! Your Easy Street is beautiful! You have been busy. Love it! Them!
Your quilts are both stunning. I especially like the cool colored version, but I'm biased since my favorite color is turquoise. Gorgeous work!
Both quilts are wonderful! You accomplish so much. I'm in awe!!!
Wow, both turned out so pretty and what a great model you have on them both :) It's nice to see how it fits on a king size bed - our largest is a queen, so I may forego the borders. My blocks are all done, just need to find enough space to lay them out so I can sew them together, may have to put the other half of the design wall back up.
Both are wonderful!! I like the small size, I could make one me too, thanks for idea!
They are both fabulous.. My favorite is the purple and turquoise! :)
Those are gorgeous! Will you quilt them on your DSM, or do you have another plan for something that big?
yours look great, I threw my top on our king sized bed yesterday too, still don't know about a border or not, I don't have much fabric left. can't believe you are making 2 easy streets!!
Your Easy Street looks great. I hope to get caught up soon.
WOW!!! Both are wonderful!
Greetings from Germany
Nicole
Oh Boy two of them, seriously not sure which one I like more, they are both beautiful!!
WOW! Just, WOW! Will you PLEASE come and piece mine together now??? LOL Congrats on two stunning quilts!
Gee willikers... TWO Easy Streets! Impressive. You just whiz along. Both are gorgeous. I like your idea to add some more ornange/red to the warm colored one. So pretty. Love Bella's pic. Gorgeous kitty!
Connie both of your mystery quilts are beautiful. I passed on Bonnie's mystery this year (a first) but had to follow to see what everyone was making. My favorite is your green/turquois and the kitty models.
Beauty is right! Wow! I just love it.
Connie it is perfect. I love the colors and it screams " spring hurry up and arrive"
You did it!!! And it sparkles - love it!!! I'm still working on my blocks but happy with my progress so far.
Absolutely love the blue green violet one, although the orange one is certainly cheerful. Congratulations on making so much progress on it!
It's beautiful, Connie. I love both the design and the blue, green colours!!!
Both looking very nice! You are so fast! I'm still putting blocks together. But it's a great pattern and looks good in a lot of different colorways!
Love these, but I'd have to say the cool coloured one is my favourite - those are some of my favourite colours!
Love it! And the warm one definitely has caught my attention.
Connie - I love the green and purple one. I'll bet you'll find those borders on sale.
They are both a beauty too! Nice tops! Jane
Connie ~ You did an amazing job on both quilts. I absolutely love the purple (shock eh?) and lime green! Gorgeous. I'm trying to choose fabrics for a quilt and cannot decide but what's funny is I was looking at lime green and purple last night while searching again.
Wow! While most of us are still piecing together one quilt, you've done TWO!!! And both look fabulous. Thanks for sharing
both are great, love the 'warm' one
I like the yellow and orange quilt the best--which is strange because I like the colors of blue and green best. You always make pretty things. Love this blog.
Both quilts are beautiful. I agree, more black/white fabric for the stash!
They are both beauties, but I love the one with all the green the most :) Awesome job on finishing up not one but two tops already!
HI!Connie, Those cool colours of your Easy Street quilt are lovely. It is a beautiful quilt. Also your yellow and orange. It is amazing how you get so much done.I think I need a tutorial on time management from you.
Both colors are beautiful! I seriously couldn't choose if I had to! Very nicely done! Looking forward to borders!
Stopping by from Freshly Pieced. Both quilts are so pretty! I love how the black and white prints are more subtle compared to the teal and purple.
Love that you did two versions of the quilt. How did you keep up? Can't wait to see what you choose for borders for both.
This looks like a great pattern, I especially like the cool color palette. Very nice!
Both are very beautiful!!
