Lots and lots of bath runners! I am taking part in A Lovely Year of Finishes and for January I chose a pile of bath runners I had pieced last fall and never finished. I am happy to say they are done! If I hadn’t decided to join I will admit…….these would probably have sat unfinished until next fall.
They are always a fun project and a great way to use up fabric and…….you can use them on a table…..any place you would like to have a small piece of quilting brightening up your space.
I have been making these for years, they are always fun. I had a group of fat eighths that I had won and decided to use cotton cluny lace around them instead of trying to find fabrics to match for binding.
I even made some a little bigger…..or a little smaller depending on how much fabric I had.
These will make perfect little gifts.
For these I used a black Kona cotton in the strips and also for the binding.
I am linking up with Melissa and Shanna for A Lovely Year of Finishes, now to figure out what I want to finish in February! Be sure and click on the button below to find out what it is all about.
