Now we always have fun joking with each other so......I told her there was something inside the bag to help her on trips away from home......a little bag of liquor.....mini bottles of course.
She loves red so I gave her that one, here is another one I made and actually like the smaller sides on it....these make cute little gifts! I kept this one also because.....I may put up a little tutorial on it if anyone likes it and....I need the model as I wrote notes when I made it....but I'm not sure where they are.
Ann is the one in the red....the birthday girl and her fun family. The photo is a little blurry but the waiter only took one so picture with my camera. We ate at Crust Stone Oven Pizza and everything was excellent! After lunch we went to their house and experimented with some different types of martinis.....needless to say, we spent the night. We didn't get home today until later in the afternoon so not much quilting happened this weekend but we sure had fun!
Tomorrow I'll share what is on my design wall.

So cute!!!
What great gifts you made for your friend! Love the ags...both kinds! Sounds like you had a wonderful evening out.
What a happy looking group. Sure looks like you were having fun!
Love your bags. It's great what you put inside. lol. Nice friend.
The other baskets are darling, too. A tute some time would be great.
such a nice gift and I love the fabrics you chose. I have a hard time getting the designs to line up when I do this... I'm inspired to try again.
I would very much appreciate a tutorial, I want to make some like this for my daughter.
thanks for sharing.

Great idea on the mini bottle bag! I love it and your cosmetic bag. Excellent fabric choice there!
Love the bag....I look forward to the tutorial! (I like the smaller sides, too).
The mini totes are too cute! Good idea for the mini liquor bottles. I didn't know they still sell the small bottles.
I'd love to see a tote tute for both sizes please.
HI! Connie, The cosmetic bay is so pretty in the blue fabrics and an ideal size for travelling. A cute mini bag full of surprises and a party day . Good fun!! I will look foreward to seeing the design wall.

Okay I'll admit that I look at the pictures first and then read, and I thought WOW thats a lot of booze, not knowing they were minis...LOL
Adorable bags, I would love to see a tutorial!
Thanks
Adorable!! And I certainly like the contents! LOL!! Great picture my friend!
A tutorial for mini liquor bags, sounds fun!
I love those little bags. I was regretting at Christmas that I didn't have anything like that for gift bags ... and of course there wasn't time to do it then. Looks like you had a really fun weekend.
What a great idea and I love the fabrics you used in the bag.
I think the picture shows a lot of fun and friendship!!
Love the cosmetic bag, the colours are great. I also like the other little bags and contents, always a good idea for birthday presents.
It sounds like you had a 'bit' too much fun that night Connie if you had to spend the night. LOL Sounds like you definitely had fun, that's for sure. Am I correct in the guess the new place you ate has their own Brick oven they cook the pizzas in? Curt and I had a pizza in the Dells a few years back on Valentine's Day as a appetizer size but it was cooked in their brick oven and OMG it was SOOOOOOo good.
Those bags are just adorable. YES! I would love a tutorial on how you made them. The red one looks taller than the other (unless the bottles are a different size in hers) and the green one looks like it might be wider and shorter. I like both of them, but I think the green one I like a little more so hopefully you'll be talked into that tutorial and you might be also talked into both sizes? Of course the pictures might be decieving and they are both the same too. :) Either way, they are just adorable.
I'd love to receive this gift. Such pretty bags.
Both are darling! I would like a tute also. What a great time!
Would love a tutorial on that cute little bag. thanks
Well, what a birthday present! And a tute...YES. The little green "6-pack" would suit my sis and her friends to a T. I will be watching for it, cause I have no talent to dream up this stuff. Glad you do.
I really like your cosmetic bag, beautiful colors and the mini tote was a great idea, I love it. It's nice to have a friend like you, I'm sure your friend was delighted your gift.
Nice work!!!!! I love it!
