It looks like Spring in my quilt room with all of the fun tulip blocks I made from Lori Holt’s Bee In My Bonnet Row Along. The top one is actually purple even though it looks blue.
I finished piecing the baby quilt I am making with Jacquelynne Steves fun Happy Town fabrics. It took me a while to figure out what I want to do and I’m happy with this. Now to just get it quilted!
Since it was a piecing day I pulled out this box of blocks and started putting them together. This was supposed to be a Leaders & Enders project but I got carried away and kept making the blocks. I used up all of them. I believe you can find the pattern on Bonnie Hunter’s blog but I can’t remember the name of it, if you know feel free to leave it in the comments. My old stash seems to have lots and lots of blue so this seemed like the perfect quilt. Of course I also started one in dark green and tans……
Edit: Barbara commented that the name of Bonnie’s quilt is Blue Ridge Beauty and is in her book Adventures with Leaders and Enders. I just looked at the block to figure out the pattern.
I may be out of blocks but……I have plenty of pieces to put together!
I want to thank everyone who stopped by for my giveaway during the blog hop. Builder Bob really got a kick out of all the comments that were left about his oak ruler holder. It really made his day!
Congrats to Charlotte, I’ll be sending you a email!
