This weekend flew by and I didn’t do much quilting. I did make a few tulip blocks from Lori Holt’s Bee In My Bonnet Row Along. I really wish I would have taken part in this from the beginning as all the different rows are so neat.
My grandson was here for the weekend and we picked up a new toy…..a Wacom Bamboo Capture Touch. Xander is like me and loves working on graphics but he wasn’t that impressed with this. I think he is too used to his iPad and stuff. That works out good because I’m keeping it here and will continue practicing with it.
When I first started to use a mouse I did it right-handed and I am left-handed. After so many years trying to use the mouse left-handed just doesn’t work. Well, no matter how hard I try I can’t seem to master drawing with the mouse……left or right…..so I am hoping this will help me.
My brain seems to pick left or right and just sticks with it. When I was
little we didn’t have left-handed scissors so I cut right-handed. Can I
cut left-handed now? No way!
Otherwise I’ll continue to draw on paper. I like to do this when I am watching television….unfortunately I don’t watch much. I keep telling myself I have to start drawing on good paper….
I also did a little doodling.
This is what we saw all day yesterday…….dirty ice, tree branches, junk all from the creeks that are coming out of their banks with all the rain and snow that has melted. Everything ends up in the Mississippi river. Our snow is gone and it was foggy when I was taking this photo so it wasn’t very clear. The river is supposed to come up about 3 feet by Wednesday which will put the water at the top of our wall that you can see in the bottom left corner. No worries about flooding……so far.
Today we are going to finish taxes and then I’m heading to my quilt room! Linking with Judy at Patchwork Times Design Wall Monday.
