Rustling Leaves

Pin It Our weather has finally turned a little cooler and I am waiting for the leaves to change colors! This little table topper will be perfect on the table now. This pattern is included in the pattern I showed you yesterday. There was also a giveaway so if you missed it be sure and check out this post.

I used the Fall Medley die from Accuquilt for the leaf but I have a similar leaf applique in my pattern. I just did a free motion applique around each leaf using a brown thread. Then I used a gold thread for the veins on the leaves.

That little bowl of candy corn is making me hungry!!

The charm pack I used was called Rustling Leaves by Cheryl Haynes for Prairie Grove Peddler and it had some great fall colors in it.

  5. I love this... the colors of fall are so warm and comforting and those leaves mixed with 9 patches are perfect! I've been thinking about getting an Accuquilt to reward myself at the end of my UFO busting year - seeing this puts me a big step closer.
