Geese, snow and Celtic Solstice
Our weather has been crazy the last few days…….cold, ice and now snow. I thought you might enjoy a few photos of the river. Here are 2 Canadian geese that were down by the river keeping an eye on me while I was taking a few quilting photos that I’ll show tomorrow.
Last night we got snow…..I spent the morning shoveling off our deck and steps.
The sun was shining and I got some neat photos of the river.
Now this is what the river looked like on Saturday…….it was a overcast day and the ice was melting off the river. It was hard to believe that just days before there was ice all across the river. You can see that some of the Canadian geese are swimming and some are slipping around as they walk on the ice.
We never left the house as it was icy, the shine you see on the deck…….ice!
Since the weather was yucky I finished up part 4 of the Celtic Solstice mystery quilt, I’m betting that the next clue will have lots of blue used in it! I always enjoy Bonnie’s mystery quilts.
Linking up with Bonnie’s fun mystery quilt at Quiltville.
