April 2014 in Review

April quilting at Freemotion by the River
It is hard to believe that April is over and we still have the furnace turned on! This morning was in the 30s.

I didn't get as many projects done this month as we seemed to be on the go more and when the weather got nice I headed outside to do yard work. I have several projects in various stages so hopefully I'll have more to share in May! It is really interesting to me to see what I have finished for the month, I did finish a large quilt that I will share soon. Stop by tomorrow for a giveaway!

Your productivity amazes me. I want to try the triangle table runner. I do 60-degree triangles all the time but never thought of using them that way.

That's a lot of finishes! You must never sleep! Looking forward to seeing your full size finish.

nice finishes! we had the heat on yesterday and today here in Arkansas - we rarely do that although I remember one day about 20 years ago in June when I turned the heat on for a couple hours to get the chill out of the house - a really late cold spell that time!

Our furnace is still running too-please bring on the warm weather! You still managed to get quite a bit done Connie! As always love seeing your projects!

What a fun and productive month it was for you, Connie. Our air conditioning turned on yesterday when the outside temps hit 96* - a rare occurance here in April.

You got plenty done - way more than I did!! I turned the heat off last week and I can be pretty stubborn about turning it on again once I've done that. But it has been cold, rainy, RAINY, and miserable this week ... until today. Now it is getting warm and muggy.

Looks like you got plenty done to me! And as usual....everything is so pretty! We still have the heat on up here also as the mornings are still in the 20's which is normal for us. :)

I think you had a lovely month. My furnace is still running too - hoping Spring shows up before May is over.

You had a much better month than I did. I love seeing all the projects that you create (even if I don't always comment). I really love your Happy Town Blues pillow, so cute! I can't believe that it is spring with how cold it has been still.
