Stash Additions and Clear Lake Iowa

The day before we came home from our trip to Minnesota, we stayed in Clear Lake, Iowa.This picture was taken along the lake. We would have loved to go out on the ferry but it was closed.
Remember when I mentioned the other day that I didn’t do much shopping while on our trip? That was because I knew I would have several packages waiting for me when I got home. I couldn’t wait to open my packages!

AccuQuilt GO! dies and mats!
I have a few AccuQuilt projects coming up with these dies. I can’t wait to work with the AccuQuilt GO! 4″ finished size Drunkard’s Path block and the GO! 9″ finished size Churn Dash block.
I also bought a kit with free video lessons from Craftsy and that box was here when I got home. The class is still on sale for $18 a 50% savings. It is called Artful Layering Kit.
Here are some of the things from the kit and also some extras I bought while on sale.
I also did a little Amazon shopping and picked up several neat books by Suzanne McNeill and also some watercolor paints.
More alcohol markers from Spectrum Noir and some ink. Now I just have to find time to play with all of my new artsy treasures!

The lake looks a bit chilly. We ate at the best local cafe when we stopped there years ago.
