I started working on a Christmas project using some beautiful Silent Night batiks from Island Batik. This is going to be a holiday table topper and I thought maybe someone else would enjoy making something with the same fabrics.
The pattern looks different depending on which way you turn it. This is a boxy star pattern made with 2 1/2 inch strips. Four blocks give you the design which is 12 inches. I added a 2 1/2 inch border to make it a nice size for our table.
You can find a whole quilt made with this design and a tutorial on Bonnie Hunter’s free patterns page.
I am giving away fat quarters of 4 different Silent Night batiks and also a fat quarter of the fabric I used in the background. Would you like to win them?
Just leave a comment telling me if you have ever worked with batiks. Anyone who follows my blog knows……..I love them! If you are new to my blog I hope you will stop back when you have a little more time to visit.
This giveaway is open to everyone and will close Friday December 12th at midnight CST.
I am taking part in the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day.
This is always so much fun and takes place twice a year, once in May
and again in December. You can give away craft/sewing supplies or
handmade goods. Check it out and take part!
