Stash Additions and Clear Lake Iowa
This post may contain affiliate links which won’t change your price but will share a commission. The day before we came home from our trip to Minnesota, we stayed in Clear Lake, Iowa. This picture was taken along the lake. We would have loved to go out on the ferry but it was closed.
Remember when I mentioned the other day that I didn’t do much shopping while on our trip? That was because I knew I would have several packages waiting for me when I got home. I couldn’t wait to open my packages!
I’ll be sharing a tutorial soon on Inspired by Fabric featuring this cute bundle of fabrics called Nite Owls
AccuQuilt GO! dies and mats!
I have a few AccuQuilt projects coming up with these dies. I can’t wait to work with the AccuQuilt GO! 4″ finished size Drunkard’s Path block and the GO! 9″ finished size Churn Dash block.
I also bought a kit with free video lessons from Craftsy and that box was here when I got home. The class is still on sale for $18 a 50% savings. It is called Artful Layering Kit.
Here are some of the things from the kit and also some extras I bought while on sale.
I also did a little Amazon shopping and picked up several neat books by Suzanne McNeill and also some watercolor paints.
More alcohol markers from Spectrum Noir and some ink. Now I just have to find time to play with all of my new artsy treasures!

That picture on the lake looks like it is COLD! Looks like you had a lot of loot to come home to. I love that owl fabric … nothing like a cute owl.
I love the owl fabric that you bought. I think I might have to consider seriously getting a Accuquilt cutting device!

Wow….it had to be fun to come home to all of those goodies!
The lake looks a bit chilly. We ate at the best local cafe when we stopped there years ago.
Wow! You hit the jackpot!! 🙂
That first picture turned out great. Looks like you got a lot of neat stuff!
How wonderful to see you looking so happy and smiling brightly. Great boxes of Creative Bliss goodies. You are ready for a very artsy Winter when staying indoors out of the elements. Thank you dear for helping our general economy…
You are so creative. Enjoy your haul!
Uhhh I want to steal that owl fabric!
I got those two dies too, well the DP cam last time and the churn dash and LeMoyne came the other day! can't wait to try them.
Good morning Connie…So happy you had a great time in Minnesota. Wow, I would have been putting pedal to the metal knowing all that was waiting for me back home. It must have been like Christmas morning opening all those packages, ooing and aahhing over their contents. Have fun, now that you are home! lv2bquilting2@comcast.net
What a haul! Can't wait to see what you are whipping up!
I have an Acuquilt Go! Baby and many dies so I love to see how you use yours….hugs, Julierose
