The other day I showed showed you a new project I was working on with pink scraps….did you guess what I was making? Beautiful pillows highlighting a special cause – breast cancer awareness.

These are a special order for someone.

I used my pink scraps for the squares around the center and also to crazy quilt a piece of fabric so I could cut out the ribbon applique pieces.

The pillows are 14 inches square and I did a envelope back on them. I also made softly stuffed inner pillow inserts.

The quilting…..I still seem to go back to my stipple quilting….what can I say…I really like it.

    I am also a fan of stippling…I think it makes a great filler and texture.

    Really pretty! Great idea to make the fabric for the ribbon. It goes great with the scrappy borders. I keep working on my stippling. When mine looks as good as yours, I will be satisfied! 🙂
