I finished quilting my Amber Geese quilt and had to wait for a day without wind so I could take pictures outside. I really like how this came out!

Last week I showed you the added borders to the piece I had made last October.

I did my usual free motion quilting on it and just happened to have a perfect piece in my stash for the back.

I used Fil-tech Glide thread in cream and also Bottom Line thread in a taupe for the stitching.

As usual, all of my quilting was done with my 15-91 vintage Singer sewing machine. I did the straight line stitching freehand.

The size of this quilt is 36 ½” x 52 ½. I wrote the pattern info as I was making it and hopefully I can share that with you soon.

The fabrics I used are Amber Ale batiks from Island Batik. The background fabric is also a batik from Island Batik called Cream – it is one of their basics.

The first quilt I made with these fabrics was my Amber Logs quilt that I made last July. I really love how you can do a search on your blog and find all this info……great diary!

Great job with the design and the quilting. I got my 15-91 a new darning foot and a new walking foot that fits the feed dogs on straight stitch machines, both of which I'm itching to try.
