This week I have worked on several different things but nothing is finished that I can show. I printed out something new with Kaleidoscope Kreator 3, if you missed my first post about it you can find it here. I wanted to create a design that was larger than 8.5 x 11 inches so I printed it as a poster design. For some reason I had a little trouble with this and wrecked 2 prints but finally I have the 4 prints that I need. Now to just put them together!
I also worked on another project that will eventually be a king size quilt for our room. It is in batiks (no surprise there) in a combinations of blues, browns and yellows. Here is my stack of some of the 144 blocks I will use. I have only made a couple of quilts that will fit on a king size bed as they aren’t the most fun to quilt on my vintage 15-91 Singer…..but it can be done. I have a neighbor who has a long-arm and she will let me try it out. That will be fun!
I have several other projects I am working on for future posts. Here is a sneak peek at something I am doing for AccuQuilt that will be on their blog next month.
I have also been watching a lot of art videos lately. Have you ever watched Lindsay from The Frugal Crafter – she constantly shares great videos and tips and is a lot of fun to watch. I pulled out my watercolor pencils which I haven’t used in ages and will be experimenting with them. You can find her YouTube channel here. I have also been doing a little shopping and will have some goodies to share with you.
