I have slowly been updating my Tutorials page and when I say slowly…….I mean slowly! I started doing posts about quilting in 2011, where does the time go! At first I was just showing a quilt or table runner that I was working on and then I started sharing a tutorial here and there.
I recently read an article that talked about blog posts and visitors and how we forget that there are always new people finding our blogs that really know nothing about us. I created my About page a while ago and it could probably use a update also but it does let you know about me. In the last couple of years I have also started designing patterns which I really love doing.
Anyway, here is a peek at some of the tutorials you can find on my blog and I will continue adding to it. Feel free to pin it to Pinterest!
Last night I changed my header and the layout of my blog. What I really want to do is start using WordPress and move my site to a host without making it hard for all of you to find me……and…..without messing up things!
I own 2 different domains, this blog is on my conniekresin.com domain and I would like to move everything to my freemotionbytheriver.com domain…..boy is that a mouthful! Connie Kresin was my maiden name and when I started my blog I didn’t know that it would grow into a quilting blog or that I would remarry. Now my name is Connie Kresin Campbell – conniecampbell.com is already taken and conniekresincampbell.com is another long domain name.
I live along the beautiful Mississippi river here in Iowa so Freemotion by the River seems like a perfect name! I really have fun taking photos of my quilts along the river.
Last year Darlene migrated her blog !Insights From SewCalGal to QuiltShopGal and has been very happy with the change, I have talked to her and now I am excited to make a change! We will see what happens! If you have any tips or suggestions I would love to hear them!
