April was a busy month and this is a review of the quilting projects and tutorials that I shared. It was also my birthday month and I moved from Blogger to a self-hosted site. My hope is that my blog will run faster and I am already having fun learning all kinds of new things. Sometimes it is a little stressful and I’ll keep making changes until I get it the way I want.
I chose a Minimalist template for my blog not realizing what that really meant. I thought it meant a clean, uncluttered blog (it is that also)……which of course you know I will clutter with all kinds of colorful things. Anyway, I was having a hard time reading my posts and figured it was because I need new glasses. Last week I wanted to show something to Builder Bob so I brought up my blog on his computer, for about 2 seconds the page looked normal and then we saw it change. Builder Bob let me know that he can’t read the print on sites like this and leaves right away. WHAT???
Then I did what I should have done in the beginning…..googled minimalist and also having a hard time reading print on some sites. It turns out that many sites (including mine) have a pale gray background and the text is not black but a dark gray. When you get my age……it doesn’t work! I made some changes and it looks better but I may end up changing the font also.
Okay, so here is what I worked on this month!
