I bet I’m not the only one who looks for goodies at the Dollar store! The other day I decided to stop in and buy some large spoons and tongs that I can take to cook-outs and not worry about getting them back.
Well guess what I found! These are clips for your tablecloth that would work great to hold your backing fabric down when sandwiching your quilt. I showed how I use Builder Bob’s clamps but these would work and…..they only cost a dollar for four of them! I think I ended up spending $35 at the……..Dollar store!
Electric Quilt turns 25 years old this year and they have been having all kinds of giveaways going on. I sure wish I was turning 25! This month Island Batik is the July Sponsor and has provided a great giveaway of…..my favorite fabric….batiks!
How would you like to win 10.7 yards from the Wind and Sea fabric collection provided by Island Batik! The giveaway ends on July 25th at 9am ET. You will find this giveaway on the Electric Quilt blog.
Island Batik is also having a giveaway on their blog. You’ll have a chance to win Electric Quilt 7 which is valued at $190! This giveaway also ends Monday July 25th at 9am ET.
Many of the Island Batik ambassadors use Electric quilt software and there is a post on Island Batik’s blog where you can have a chance to win this fantastic software. You can also read what some of the EQ Artists have to say about using the program (including me).
