Bella Skillbuilder Flying Geese Blocks
This is the fourth month in the Bella Skillbuilder QAL and we made flying geese blocks this time. We were to make 3 of the Bella Skill Builder flying geese blocks. I have always enjoyed making any size of flying geese blocks, have you ever made any?
The flying geese blocks are always fun to make when you use the Quilt in a Day Small Flying Geese Ruler #2006QD template. I actually have 2 sizes of this template and can make 4 different sizes of blocks.
It was fun to put all of the blocks I have made so far up on my design wall. I am using the Bella solid colors that are in the kit. This is going to be beautiful!
Here is a picture of the completed quilt, don’t forget that Fat Quarter Shop has a kit for the Bella Skillbuilder quilt. You can read more about this month’s QAL and check out the blocks that other bloggers have made on the Jolly Jabber. Download the free May 2017 Flying Geese pattern, the link is in the Jolly Jabber post.
If you are just thinking about joining be sure and visit the Fat Quarter Shop. They have a FAQ page which is where you can find the free pattern each month, links to all of the blocks, patterns and videos that have been shown so far and also see the total yardage in case you want to use different fabrics or colors.
